Being able to have a simulation to run while command was set. Also incorporating radio use was excellent.

I was only involved in the command boards as a scribe. it would have been nice to be further involved.

The power point / lectures. mainly becuase I have had a lot of training in this area and have heard it before.

Practical exercises were beneficial for field responders as it was more interactive than other classes I have been to.

Dispatch was not used as much in the exercises as they will be in real life situations.

I would love to see more dispatch directed scenarios. Maybe have callers actually call in and take the calls with information. The hostage taker calling in was probably the most realistic of them in that aspect.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Any active threat scenario is beneficial as they are high priority low frequency events.
