I honestly don't feel that any of the course was invaluable, I learned something in each section and each scenario that will benefit me moving forward.

Ensuring that the message of the class being available and that it is free, to other dispatch centers so that more telecommunicators can be encouraged to come and experience the training. It was an awesome class for dispatchers and showcased the often forgotten valuable role we can play in these events and day to day workload.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

More classes of this type that bring all levels and agencies together to complete the collective task.

The fact that dispatch was included and dispatching. helped to hear what radio traffic would be like for an active shooter incident.

The hands on portion was most valuable, reading about it is one thing but actual practice reinforced the lessons taught by instructors.

I would love to see or do like a "negotiator for dispatch" course. In the event I ever really have to talk to someone who is reporting to me they are about to do something bad to themselves or someone else, I'd rather have constructive things to say, than to just be really vague and awkward.
