I really enjoyed this course, it was taught well. I liked the simulation but also think a true physical simulation would also be beneficial.

The most valuable part of the course had to be the scenarios. Being able to be hands-on for situations I have not yet experienced in my dispatch job was very interesting and even rewarding in some aspects.

I believe that taking this class helped to show how/what officers go through while in a situation like this. Being in a room and behind screens, it is hard to understand how it is all handled and this class showed how (somewhat) it would be handled if this situations happens (to me again).

This class felt as though it was more for officers. Like I said in the previous question, it was great to learn how they do it in the field, but I did not feel as though there was tons of things for dispatch to use.

They talked about negotiating with the suspects and I believe that would be beneficial to dispatch in several ways!.
