The mixing of multiple types of first responders and how effective we can be if we work together and put egos aside.

The fact that we were doing everything through a computer program. It helped a lot but in real life, people are going to be screaming and panicking. So raido comms will be much harder to understand.

For what the class offered, it was great. The computer program was the most realistically way to apply this training given the resources we had.

The instructors were well verse and demonstrated strong ideas for ICS/ASIM, which included personal experiences to enhance their knowledge and exposure.

The need to attend ALERRT and further understand/develop my ability to respond to and engage critical incidents in whatever role I may be in.

This course was really impressive. It helped me learn the concepts of active shooter incident management by taking the lessons and reinforcing it through active learning. The instructors were enthusiastic and their experience really helped provide learning opportunities during the practical exercises. I would highly recommend this course and and instructors to anyone.

The most valuable was the hands on portion. It made you organize the information given and prioritize what was needed where and when. The importance of time and time management during an active shooter. You had to organize choas.

The examples of active shooters in the past. It would have been more beneficial to hear how they organized and what could have been better for those incidents.

The computer simulations were excellent and the different areas for tactical, command, staging, and dispatch. It puts you into the most real world situations inside a classroom.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

The command structure and the EOC. This course was excellent and I would recommend this course to all my fellow co-workers.
