More communication prior. Site was changed and I miss the one email that was sent from a different email. I missed the first hour because I was at the prior location. There were several others that showed up and asked the Best Western for where the conference was.

Local training with Law Enforcement and EMS to all be on the same page.

The practical exercises were very beneficial. I have attended this course with other law enforcement personnel, however, this time I attended with school personnel. It is great to train with the school and a school scenario so that we can work together and they can understand what the response looks like in an event like this. The instructors were very knowledgeable about the content and shared relevant information/personal experiences.

More time on reunification. The tabletop needs to go into more detail. That would’ve helpful for me because that is the process I know the least about.
