Which part(s) of the course was MOST valuable to you. Please explain why.

Learning that the RTF can go into the warm zones to get patients before the scene has been cleared. Also learning about the roles of the first five officers arriving on scene. I was not aware of this operational structure.

Which part(s) of the course was LEAST valuable to you? Please explain why.

They all are valuable. I already have an understanding of Staging, so that was the least new information.

This seems to be a very general overview. I am assuming that there are more detailed action plans coming in future classes. I did not notice links to any of the material that was referenced. I am assuming there are links located on the website to be able to order or download. When registering, there was no choice for Firefighter/EMT. I had to choose between Fire or EMS (not fire). We are a volunteer department that has to have a basic knowledge of all. So now I am wondering what different training I would have received if I had chosen Fire instead of EMS.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

More in-depth training with multiple agencies..... scenarios for practical application. Transitioning from Active Danger into Reunification and Community Care. In a small town, any crisis event ripples deeply throughout the community...much farther than just those immediately involved.
