The emphasis on use of Unified Command as I do not feel many school officials have Incident Command training and this demonstrates the need for it.

The final module, didn't really tell me anything I didn't already know.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

Training for our local school staff to prepare them for an event like this. We are currently forming a County wide Reunification Team to support an impacted school/district.

I like the video of the kids explaining SRP, and the one that talks about the importance of a calm presence when releasing students from classrooms, not having their arms in the air, not treating students like criminals and picking a clear path of exit.

Happy to know we have a plan in place and an idea of what post incident would look like. I am more excited to work with my peers to understand their thinking and what their own expectations/capabilities may be.
