The practical board game allowed our class to not only apply and practice the knowledge we had learned during the course but it also allowed us to gain more experience and practice using the radio and understanding how to effectively communicate as a team during a stressful and chaotic situation.

The part of the course that was most valuable to me was the practical exercise part of the course. Personally, I learn best by watching other people perform a task that I am trying to learn. I also enjoyed the fact that I had the opportunity to perform the exercise first hand.
