Dispatch is not utilized as a critical role / In a real world scenario we are more involved and the lack of info and part we play in the exercises is disheartening.

More courses relevant to dispatch that can teach and grow my practical skills.

I took the course as a dispatcher. I had field experience in medical and fire which was not utilized. I believe that it would be beneficial to allow dispatch time in each of the other fields to generate true interdiscipline understanding.

The practical exercises were a positive, where the absence would not solidify the instruction.

As a dispatcher, I learned nothing useful in the dispatch role in the exercise. Rotate dispatchers to officers roles and vice versa. The mutual understanding from seeing each other side of the isle is a great unifier. I feel like this course didn't give a dispatcher much interaction.
