Computer based tactical and RTF response.

Get rid of the video games and execute the tactics and responses with actors, simunition and props. It will cost thousands less and greatly enhance learning.

Ic, the times i spent in actual ic or tactical was valuable practice, instructors were relatable and had good information.

Using the simulator as a first responder. for me, in my current position as a lt, i am not going to be in a role as contact team or perimeter, yes it could happen but not likely.

I would like more instruction and direction at the actual ic position.

Refreshing in my mind the need to push RTFs into a warm zone more immediately.

Playing on the computers was not a benefit to me. While I appreciate the use of technology playing a shooting game was not helpful for someone with my level of experience and position.

This course was advertised as needing command level participants. A majority of the class was geared toward patrol while the ability to act as a supervisor or commander was very limited.

The simulation in my opinion was useless, it did not provide any learning points.

Stop utilizing the simulation and continue to utilize the in-person practical scenarios. Inside of the simulation there it feels like I am just playing a video game with zero learning experiences. The in person position afford students with the ability to see a side of staging and command operations that they may not typically be exposed to.
