I found the lectures to be the most valuable part of the course because we had an excess of dispatchers that caused us to fill roles that we would not realistically fill.

I found the scenario's to be the least valuable part of the course due to the lack of space for me to fulfill my actual job duties.

I would recommend having more spaces for dispatchers or having them fulfill a role that they might handle in real life.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

I think the next training I think that would be most useful is the Crisis negotiations course.

The practical exercises were dvery interactive, well led and engaging.

I would not say I was disappointed or felt any part of the course was not valuable.

The powerpoint presentations and speakers were very engaging. This was one of the few courses I have taken where I felt sitting in a classroom setting was not boring.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

I would say that a training diving deeper into IED attacks would be benificial.

The fact that dispatch was included and dispatching. helped to hear what radio traffic would be like for an active shooter incident.

The hands on portion was most valuable, reading about it is one thing but actual practice reinforced the lessons taught by instructors.
