Understanding and managing active shooter events from a strategic perspective as opposed to a tactical one (ASIM versus TECC/TCCC).

Understanding the workings of a unified command system in an active violent event.

I would suggest the incorporation of VR technologies in simulations. I think the learning curve of how to perform in the simulator would be shorter if these technologies were implemented.

Response and command set up for these active scenes is in my opinion the most valuable skill I learned here. This is important because of the multitude of agencies that would be responding to large scale incidents like we experienced in class.

Area command, this is only due to the fact that in my current role as a line emt I would not have been put in an area command position unless extenuating circumstances arose.
