The practical portion helped put all activity into perspective, rather than just dispatch.

The lectures weren't as exciting as the simulations but they were valuable.

The only suggestion that I have is to possibly troubleshoot radio issues for future groups to help communication go more smoothly.

No one really communicated with dispatch that much. In reality dispatch is the backbone of everything. Officers are always asking questions and need assistance in what to do next. This was not the case for the past 3 days.

The interactive ability to do things that officers and fire/ems were able to participate in.

Least valuable was just watching and not doing.

For dispatch, it would be more engaging should we have the opportunity to be more outside, realistically we wouldnt just "hear" the information like we did in this example, and we would be overloaded with calls + other calls while this incident would occur.
