Practical exercises. It is highly beneficial to be able to practice the knowledge in a controlled environment in order to learn it, than to have the first time being on a real scene.

The hands on training was excellent. It is one thing to be taught the curriculum but to learn how to put it to use was very helpful.

The scenarios offered practical experience and a big picture of the operations during an active shooter incident. This has significantly increase my understanding of the response and operations of our LE and the coordination and communication that I can offer.

I think the most valuable aspect of the course was the computer component. Lecturing is great, but getting to apply the newly gained knowledge in as close to real world as possible is PHENOMENAL experience.
