REMEMBER DISPATCHERS LIKE TO HAVE FUN AND WOULD LIKE TO USE THE SIMULATOR TOO NOT JUST STUCK AT THE DISPATCH SCREEN THE WHOLE TIME WE DO THAT AT WORK EVERY DAY.

Learning what each position did as far as Staging, Command, Etc.

Dispatching during the simulations. CAD was not what we would have normally used and there was not much for us to do other than listen to radio traffic.

This is the first training that I have been to that includes Dispatch in any way other than being present. Very appreciated.

What other training is most important to you now that you have completed this course?

I would like to take a training that focuses more on radio communications during an incident like this.

I hope that EM's may have a bigger role in the future by actually having additional mutual aid resources that could be given rather that it being assumed we can get everything.

Area Command. I have never been a part of a scene that has developed to a point of seeing area command. It was a learning experiecence being part of that scenario.
