The AREA COMMAND and COMMAND roles as those do not apply to me at my current level of experience.

I believe that dispatch should be more involved as that is generally where we see cognitive overload first. There is plenty of opportunity to simulate and recreate chaotic radio traffic and an influx of information through dispatch.

In 27 years of EMS and 16 years as a tactical medic, this is the most comprehensive active shooter training that I have attended.

I think it would be good to let the class completely fail a scenario. No hand holding let them see first hand what to fix without instruction.
