Personal Profile
Walter Andino brings more than two decades of law enforcement, instructional, and security leadership to the NCIER team. He currently serves as a police officer with the Miccosukee Police Department, patrolling more than 100,000 acres of park, state, and tribal lands, and is helping to build a medical officer program to offset delayed EMS response in remote areas.
Previously, Walter spent twenty years with the North Bay Village Police Department, where he served as training officer and was a member of patrol, marine and dive operations, traffic enforcement, investigations, and multi-agency coordination alongside federal task forces at major events including multiple Super Bowls. Walter retired as Sergeant.
Walter also served as Security Director for the One Miami Master Association and has taught at Miami Dade College and the Miami-Dade Public Safety Training Institute.
He has held FDLE instructor certifications in firearms, defensive tactics, driving, and diving, plus Florida EMT licensure, and has a Hazardous Material Technician certification and an FAA commercial pilot's license.

Police Sergeant
Served as department training officer, responsible for all in-service training and developed the department's basic and advanced patrol rifle and initial Taser programs. Assignments spanned road patrol, marine patrol, dive team leadership, traffic enforcement, investigations, dispatch, field training officer and supervisor, accreditation manager, honor guard, and multi-agency coordinator. Supported operations with the DEA, DHS/CBP/ICE/HSI, FAMS, and MDPD, served on the Multi-Agency Gang Task Force and SeaNet, trained with multiple SWAT teams, and worked large-scale events including several Super Bowls, the World Series, NCAA National Championship games, the Miami Open, and numerous concerts.
