Staging familiarization is most helpful to Law Enforcement response.

PIO is a mostly useless position in these classes as most agencies have policies dictating who would operate in such a manner.

I think there should be more tactic training. New Jersey is clearly focusing on a management aspect which does not help the countless young officers in the positions actually responding. The state fails these officers by having little to no tactical training, I feel that the practical exercises should be conducted physically and not in a computer for an incident of this severity.

Get rid of the video games and execute the tactics and responses with actors, simunition and props. It will cost thousands less and greatly enhance learning.

I think this course should be targeted for Sergeant and above rank, as I don't believe it's very practical for the line level officer. Also, the flyer for this course, ESPECIALLY, the pictures, made it seem like it was going to be force on force. It was very deceiving that it would all be done via a computer game.

This course, but with force on force simunition, in a large scale environment.

Which part(s) of the course was MOST valuable to you. Please explain why.

The course materials and lecture would have been the most valuable. Normally, I would the exercises but this exercise was extremely field focused and Emergency Management was barely incorporated. This is a failure of the system particularly when for many smaller organizations due to resource constraints an EOC activation would be more beneficial to relieve pressure from the field.
